to take that witch out!!!!!!!! Everybody at work is so frustrated these days. K called me this morning crying saying she is ready to quit...the boss is suffering health wise from all this crap, a few others have told me they are ready to quit/are looking for new jobs. I just clocked out for lunch and walked through the break room...the witch was in the office with D and said "Oh Renee, while it is still fresh on my mind, come here." Then she told D to tell me where I was going at three this afternoon... like I won't be told before that or I couldn't ask K or D.
The atmosphere in this place is getting to be worse than that at the last center I worked at. AND that caused a very high turnover of teachers and not good teachers being hired.....which results in parents not being happy. I WANT TO SCREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

UGH!
So I had several leaks in my water line. Now I am trying to see if the landlord is responsible for any of the bill - since I didn't use that water. I will give him that my average usage was 9 - the last bill said I used 29!!!
I did some good today...I got C his library card and got B a new one since she lost hers. So while I may not be able to check out books on mine - I turned all but one in - I can use theirs!!

The birthdays were on the 5th and 6th....
Happy birthday Dad and a belated happy birthday to my Grandpop yesterday. There are a number of other relatives that were/are born, married or died in November.
I don't even know if it says in my profile that I love genealogy. I got started in middle school, I thin, and then had a wonderful teacher in high school that encouraged me. This was in the late seventies- early eighties in Collinsville, Okla. The teacher was Mrs. H, the school librarian. I checked the schools website in Aug., just looking, around and she is still there! I sent her an email but never heard back... a large part me me didn't expect to but there was a small part that kinda did ya know?
So now I have traced back, on my own, to the Revolutionary War on my Dads side and back to a set of great- great- grandparents on Moms side. Her side is harder since they are relatively recent immigrants and my grandparents were either first or second cousins. With all the secrecy involved I am guessing first. Then thanks to two distant cousins, I have one line traced back to 1569. I also learned this year that one me my ancestors helped hide the Liberty Bell.
-- I study my genealogy so I know who to blame......... :)

I voted yesterday!
C and I were at the church at 5:55 and there were about 75 people ahead of us. Then the "officials" came out and decided the line was forming the wrong way - of course it was since they didn't have any ropes or things to mark off which way to line up. So they start moving people AT THE BACK OF THE LINE first. By this time there were about 100 people in line.
At 6:15 I called work and we were fine coverage wise. At 7:15, with about 40 people ahead of me I checked again and we were fine, at 7:25 I sent my boss a text (and then had to turn off my phone) and the minute I turned the phone back on I got a text back from her saying and I quote "Can't help that we have 2 b covered". What really pissed me off about that was that she had stopped to vote. And I wasn't one of these who was going to come in moaning that I needed to get off early to vote. No, the polls opened at 7 and I had to be to work at 7:30 if I had gotten there 1/2 hour earlier, I would have been fine and with 40 people ahead of me I wasn't going to get out of line because D thought we needed coverage. I was done at 7:53 and clocked in at 7:59.
Then there is something else that is getting to me today. Remember the "consultant" dude, well he goes around with a blue tooth sticking out of his ear ( which really doesn't look professional). So now the assn't director, K, has one..and was going around taking numbers while talking on it! And the powers that be really don't even like to see us with a cell phone, let alone a blue tooth. A lot of people have said that she is a big fake - she goes around ( since she made ass't director) with her sunglasses on top of her head - like the boss does - and she makes her K's when she initials things look like D's, the way the boss makes hers. She acts one way when certain people are around and then a completely different way other times. I understand that to a certain extent everyone does that but it is getting out of hand. Wish I had the guts to wear my blue tooth......... I am sure someone here will :)

Had some fun.......
decided to have some fun and that it was high time Casey learned where some things are under a cars hood. So get some tissues, maybe a depends and picture this scene.... On the way home tonight, I asked Casey to help me find a reservoir and I wasn't sure where it was or what the cap looked like. When we got home, Casey went and got Mr. Andy (a mechanic) to see if he knew what to look for. Well Andy told Casey it was a red cap and Casey went, got a flashlight and started looking. Beth comes out and we tell her what Casey is doing and she says that was part of the problem with her grandmothers car and all she knows is that it is under the hood some where. Casey spent 10 minutes looking for.................................. the blinker fluid!! :-0

Took me 45 minutes.......
I'm buying a car from my neighbors. They are letting me pay fifty bucks a payday till taxes come back. They said they would let me do this about 1 1/2 weeks ago even though I have been driving it for a couple of months since I lost the van keys (more on that in a future post). Made the first payment this weekend and tried to give A. a hint to clean out the trunk because I had some stuff to put back there. She didn't get the hint. I went to their door this morning and she acted like it was very bossy of me to ask what to do with the stuff and like she hadn't planned on doing anything that day. I felt bad for asking but at the same time the trunk was full and i mean full. Her husband told me, in front of her ,to throw it all out. He then said if there was something worth saving to set it on the porch - which i did.
This is what I saved - 3 jugs of antifreeze, 2 umbrella strollers, an unopened 24 oz beer, an unopened can of Pepsi, 2 kids fishing poles, 2 kids tackle boxes, a fishing net, 4 eight packs of play dough, a pair of sneakers, an unopened 3 pack of mens underwear, a couple of metal bars that stood by themselves, a fishing reel, a small purse, a kids hat and glove set, a kids metal folding chair, 2 things of glass cleaner, a container of amour all wipes, an umbrella and a handful of mail. I kept in the trunk a rope, a Chilton manual for the car, a headlight assembly and a jug of antifreeze. The stuff I threw away just about filled a lawn trash bag.

Ugghh!
Ya know I hate having to play "the game" at work. We have what would best be described as an efficiency expert at work - he has been hired to "tweak" things. I am supposed to, according to this person, wash my hands about every two minutes. Also I am to disinfect the changing table for 2 minutes after each use. The way I figure it, with the kids we have now, I will be changing, washing their hands and disinfecting for about an hour - and we change every two hours, more if we smell something! Some things just work better on paper..............

Been a while....
I know but I just might start this up again. Hopefully with better proofreading! LOL!!
Things haven't changed much, kids are the same, job is kinda the same . Let's see where do I start.... oh yea teenagers! I know I could have it ALOT worse but this morning when she said she was sick and couldn't go to school, I told her that if she didn't go then she wasn't going this weekend....she told me that is not the way it works AND she would be better by the weekend....Well I laid into her and told her that is the way it works and if she didn't want to be anymore late for school to just stand there and argue and she could have a whole weeks worth of silent lunches... She went to school :)
